At the forefront of aluminium diecasting for 80 years, we’re one of the few European companies to offer low pressure diecasting, sandcasting and gravity diecasting in a single foundry. We pride ourselves on our ability to resolve even the most complex diecasting challenges quickly and cost effectively, so you receive exactly what you need, when you need it.
Our skilled engineers work with you from prototype design through to finished casting to optimise the manufacturing process for your component, production run, time scale and budget.
We develop a precise solution based on your component, production run, timescale and budget
Sarginsons are one of the few European companies to offer three complementary processes at a single site, complete with state-of-the-art magma flow simulation and comprehensive finishing and assembly services.
You benefit from synergies because we can combine elements of each diecasting process. For example, for complex components we can manufacture prototypes from sandcasting until the design is perfect, and then complete the production run using gravity or low pressure diecasting. We also offer a high quality and cost-effective prototype service for high pressure diecasting.
We are a cornerstone of the UK diecasting industry
Operating continuously since the 1930’s from our base in the West Midlands, Sarginsons are proud to be a bastion of UK manufacturing. We have been spearheading innovation and development for 80 years, and our clients include some of the most respected names in the automotive, petrochemical, energy and engineering sectors, including Rotork, Jaguar Land Rover, Caterpillar, Bosch, JCB, Aston Martin, Tata and Siemens.
Services Sarginsons Industries Ltd Provide
LOW PRESSURE DIECASTING
With lower energy and post-casting finishing costs, as well as increased yield rates and cycle times, low pressure offers considerable commercial benefits.
Our range of gravity diecasting machines includes semi-automated tilt and pour, semi and fully-automated hydraulic free standing and conventional mechanically-operated technologies.
Sandcasting is carried out using a mechanised carousel casting unit, which produces production quantities, small batches and prototypes.
FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY
Our fettling team is famous for its attention to detail and its consistency. Processes include shot blasting, linishing, grinding and polishing, with powder coating, wet painting, impregnation and plating carried out locally.
